123.hp.com/envy127 – HP Envy 127 Setup
For setting up the HP Envy printer setup (123.hp.com/setup):
- Unpack the printer from its box
- Check if all the list of items are available
- Remove the tape around the lid of the scanner by raising it
- Unpack the cleanout area and ink cartridge access area by removing the tape around it
- Extend the paper tray door to remove the tape around it
- Push the paper tray forward till you hear a click
- Plug the printer into its power source and set the Preferences
- Press the down arrow on the control panel and select the language and Set Country/Region
- Press Ok to confirm actions
- Load the paper into the paper tray and adjust slider widths
- Align papers and push the paper tray forward till it clicks into place
- Raise the access door to the ink cartridges to load and lock them into place
- The carriage moves automatically to an accessible position for mounting the cartridges
- Once the carriage is idle continue with the HP Envy printer setup
- Without touching the ink nozzles remove the plastic tape from top of the cartridges
- Lift the lid of the ink cartridge slot and snap the cartridge into place
- Repeat the action for other ink cartridges and close the lid to secure the cartridges in their places
- Align the cartridge by closing the access door of the print cartridge
- Follow the instructions shown on the control panel
- Once the cartridges are aligned, the printer prints an alignment page
HP Envy 127 Cloud Print
The Google Cloud Print is a free service that enables printing documents from any network-enabled device to the HP Envy 127 printer
Software or driver downloads are not required for using this feature
Enabling Cloud Print:
- The computer can have standard browsers and operating systems like Chrome, OS X v10.7, Linux, Windows XP or newer, installed
- The printer and the device should be connected to the same network
- Turn on the HP Envy 127 printer
- From the Chrome browser, Sign in to your Google account
- In the Settings window, select Show Advanced Settings
- Select Google Cloud Print under Manage
- Your HP Envy 127 printer will be listed under New devices
- You can then Register the device under it
- If the printer is already listed under My devices just choose Manage
Printing a document
- Sign in to your Google account from the Chrome browser
- In the Google Cloud Print Jobs, click on Print
- Under Upload a file to Print choose Select a file from my computer
- Open the document and select the Print command

- In Web Services Settings menu select Print Info Page
- The Print Info Page will print an information page that contains the printer code and instructions for customization
Turn off ePrint
- In the Web Services Settings menu, selecting ePrint and Off should turn off the ePrint
